If a commanding General on the battlefield had spoken this way about Bush I would have been appalled and called for his head also...This is just one of the many reasons I can never be of the Conservative mindset....The Commander In Chief is the duly elected one in charge (no matter your political philosophy) and should never be publicaly spokenabout like this by a subordinate...To condone it as I am sure the Conservatives will do shows a complete lack of class or patriotism...The office and powers bestowed on the President deserve respect and it is so sad that Conservatives have chosen to ignore this...I did not agree with the decision to invade Iraq but I sure as hell supprted my President (Bush) when he made the choice...If you hate your President and your country that bad Mark I am sure you know where the door is...Maybe Iran would be more to your liking considering your political beliefs ;)

Once again Steve is projecting what I think, what I am, and what I believe... I do not at all approve of the General saying what he said. I understand fully why he thinks that, but is was very unprofessional, and disrespectful of the office of the presidency.

He thinks that it is in HIS authority to "Spread the Wealth" of those that earn it,, take it from them.. to redistribute.. all of this is against what it means to be an American Citizen.. where you fend for your self, take pride in YOUR labor, have incentives to save for your own family,,, pay your own way through life, avoid at all cost any hand outs etc...

You liberals have set in place an entitlement mentality, you spread it in Government schools,, you spread it by being unrealistic in the face of very real dangers...

But I don't expect you two to understand the Ideal of Americanism.. due to it being polar apposite to Liberalism...

As far as knowing where the door is.... I can't put on here what is running through my mind at this moment.. but you cannot fine any one that cares for, and loves what it means to be an American than me.... you can't...
